Update to the visa situation: I spoke with the Kazakhstan Consulate in NY this morning. I told him our last name, and he said, "Yes, this one was urgent for adoption, no?" Yes! Urgent! We leave in 2 days! He said the visas were done, and they would send out the FedEx package this afternoon.
God is gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood! All the time.
I think we're fresh out of obstacles! Now we just gotta make our flight!
